Thus arose the need for products which
are free from such Chemicals. These products are labeled
as “Organic Products” produced under ORGANIC
AGRICULTURE which is a system of farm design and management
to create an eco system,which can achieve sustainable
productivity without the use of artificial inputs such
as chemical fertilizers and pesticides. This can be achieved
by suitable crop selection and rotation, Management of
weeds and pest is attained by encouraging biological control
through the use of beneficial insect population and by
mechanical removal of weeds, pests and affected plants.
